Jacqueline C. Wright
Jackie, wife of Bill, is a Registered Occupational Therapist and is licensed in the state of North Carolina. She graduated from Tufts University with a B.S. degree in occupational therapy. Her OT experience includes serving children with developmental delays due to a variety of diagnoses including autism and establishing OT departments in 4 of the settings she has worked in. She and Bill served as missionaries for 12 years with HCJB in Quito, Ecuador. During that time, she made it priority to be mom to their 3 growing children. At the same time God provided opportunities to use her OT skills in a variety of settings including a summer camp for children and teens with disabilities and volunteering at a day care center serving young children with physical delays whose families had limited means. Since moving to Boone, she has been involved in the following: OT for the local schools, OT consultant at an intermediate care facility for adults with developmental disabilities, caregiver to her mother and translator/ advocate and ESL teacher for the Boone Hispanic community. Since PowerQuest WorldWide was established, she has traveled with Bill 3 to 4 times a year serving in practical ways at hospitals they visit. She is responsible for donor care for PowerQuest WorldWide. She enjoys time with family especially their 3 exceptional elementary aged grandchildren.
